Newsletter Jan 2012: Happy New Year With the coming of the new year also comes more choices for printing. We can print in black and white or color. We can use ribbons, inkjets, laser or ink sticks. It is hard to know which one is the best choice. When looking at new equipment, think about how you will be using it. Do you want to print on other media besides paper, like cardstock or envelopes? How many paper trays will you need and do you need a manual feed tray? With all the inexpensive printers available it is hard to know which one to choose. I like to look at the options available and the page counts on the supplies. You might find a color printer for around $300 but the supplies are only 1000 page cartridges. If you went with a more expensive printer you could find cartridges with larger page counts. Also, some printers can take a low or high yield cartridge. It is always more cost effective to get the high yield cartridge. For a little more money you can get a printer that will use the high yield cartridge. I hope we have learned something from what is going on now and can turn it around. Becky: 651-776-3657/800-249-8576 . |
